Presente continuo y Presente Simple 

Presente continuo

Podemos usar el presente continuo con verbos de  estado(ejemplo. attract,sound,love,look,like),cuando  queremos decir o enfatizar que una situación es  temporal o por un periódo de tiempo en el  presente.Compara:

• Jean stays with us quite often.The children love having her here.
• Jean is with us at the moment.The children are loving having her here.

Usamos el presente Continuo para hablar sobre eventos o actividades en particular que hayan empezado pero que no han terminado en el tiempo en el que se habla,El evento o actividad está en progreso en el presente tiempo pero no necesariamente en el momento en el que se hable.,

• Who are you phoning? I'm trying to get through to Helen.

 Presente Simple 

Usamos el presente simple que describen estados o situaciones que son siempre verdaderas o continuas indefinidamente.

• Trees grow  more quickly in summer than in winter.

Usamos el presente simple con estados o situaciones (Pensamientos,sentimientos) que existen en el presente momento.

También se usa para hablar sobre hábitos o eventos o acciones regulares. 

• Do you go to Turkey every year for your holidays?
