Adjectives ending in -ED and -ING

1)Adjectives ending in -ED describe how something/sb feels or is feeling.exp:

I arrived home very exhausted

2)Adjectives ending -ING describes that something is making feel to somebody the way is feeling.

The work is --->2)exhausting<---.That's why I always arrive home --->1)exhausted<--.
